Free Art & Athletic Lessons for Kids & Teens Impacted by Chronic Illness
CoachArt is a nonprofit organization that offers free music, art, and athletic lessons to children & teens who have been impacted by a chronic, physical illness.
CoachArt students receive 8 weekly 1-on-1 lessons from talented volunteers. All volunteers have completed an orientation and passed a background check.
At the end of the 8 weeks, students can sign up to continue those lessons or try something new. All lessons and materials are provided at no cost to volunteers or families.
Eligible students have chronic, physical conditions that require ongoing treatment, or are the siblings of a child with such conditions, and are between the ages 5 and 18.

“The most empowering part was being able to pass on a skill that I am passionate about and watch it pique someone else's curiosity.”
— SHANNON, COACHART VOLUNTEER
“Before CoachArt, my son was very depressed. There was nothing fun going on in his life. This gave him something to look forward to.”
